There is no doubt that to achieve a final finish as glossy as this requires professional preparation work. We specialise in transforming old or well used boats, yachts and RIBs, this Orkney is no exception. We sanded down the existing gel, repaired any gel coat damage, dents and scratches and repainted in the traditional Orkney blue top coat.

Other services included:-

• A new black rub rail was added to finish off the side profile
• We supplied and fitted a new long shaft Tohatsu 15hp outboard
• Applied a new antifoul

Our antifoul service includes a water level test where we place the boat in the water with the average 'at rest' weight, this is marked on the hull and then a laser level is used to mask up that perfect water line. The under waterline level is then keyed back, primer applied and then the appropriate antifoul paint is used, normally applying 2 to 3 coats depending on the usage.
