6.2m Shakespeare Sports RIB refurbishment

We took delivery of 6.2m Shakespeare from a local customer who wanted to refurbish her from top to bottom. We started by removing the engine and all fixtures and fittings including the navigation, controls and steering to asses the full extent of works.

Works included:

• Polishing

• Teak decking

• Fit new console and rear seat

• Mould jockey seats

• Design and fit upholstery

• Outboard repair and service

• Cowling refurb

• Electronics supply and installation

• Complete re-wire 

• New Hydraulic steering 

• Seatrials and commisioning

The tubes were in fairly good condition and just required a good clean and UV protection applied.

With all our refurbished RIBs and boats we manage the work 100% in-house and only outsourcing the specialist services to our trusted partners for example the re-trimming of the various interior fittings and seating.

The RIB was finished on time and the customer was delighted with the end result.
